Passion Meets Purpose
We live to get things done and we’re all about making it count for clients.
Founded in 2017, we are a proudly female-owned, South African company. We are passionate about empowering our clients to make informed decisions around their travel and to help them identify efficiencies for cost savings. With a noble purpose and strong passion, the business was built on the basis to be a clear and independent voice to advocate clients' best interests. Though the start was humble and the journey has been hard, we are thankful to every client whom we have been able to partner with along the way - it has been mutually rewarding, which is referenced by our growing list of clients.
We are collaborative, personable, and entrepreneurial, priding ourselves in creating value for every client we work with.
Founder & MD
Procure Travel was founded in 2017 by Riana who, after a decade in the travel industry, realised the need for independent travel procurement and founded the company during a career sabbatical. Her resumé boasts impressive senior leadership and management experience within the travel industry, having worked for several airlines, a hotel group, and one of South Africa's largest TMC's in a variety of disciplines, heading up various departments in sales, marketing, key account management and procurement.
After founding the company, she made headway in the global travel procurement industry and was appointed to the US-Based Partnership Travel Consulting (PTC) management team as Regional Director for Africa and the Middle East in 2017.
Riana is known for her unique analytical approach, progressive thinking, often challenging the status quo. Clients describe her as tenacious and constantly innovating new and sustainable ways to create value and optimise their costs.
She still serves as the Regional Director for the global PTC Consulting Group, representing the largest group of independent travel procurement professionals globally.
She also holds a B.Com Honours degree and is a proud member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS).
